This work from my “Vector Paintings” series is based on an image that I took while exploring a factory that had been hit by a tornado and burned down. The sheet metal that once formed the walls of the factory had been wrenched, twisted, contorted into organic patterns that moved in a serpentine fashion, and in the image I took I imagined I saw a mythical serpent's head and body.
